ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE...

"All I Need to Know About Life I Learned From My Dog"

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on affection and let people touch you - enjoy back rubs and pats on your neck.
When you leave your yard, make it an adventure.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't pout - run right back and make friends.
Bond with your pack.
On cold nights, curl up in front of a crackling fire.
When you're excited, speak up.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
If you stare at someone long enough, eventually you'll get what you want.
Don't go out without ID.
Leave room in your schedule for a good nap.
Always give people a friendly greeting.
If it's not wet and sloppy, it's not a real kiss.

Happy Monday! How adorable is this poem? I always say that I wish I could live with the same joy and love as my dogs. They are such amazing little beings!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was low-key, just the way I like it. ALL day Friday, I had a premenstrual migraine/hangover from Thursday night happy hour (sorry for the overshare), so I skipped out on work and enjoyed a relaxing lunch with a girlfriend and some shopping and then Darrin and I got takeout for dinner and indulged in a Modern Family marathon. Saturday, I binge cleaned my house and Sunday, we met Darrin's parents for lunch and spent the afternoon at the hardware store choosing plants and seeds for this year's vegetable garden. I know what you're thinking right now. That sounds super lame. (Perhaps I'm the one thinking that :)) But I cannot tell you how much I look forward to a few relaxing weekends scattered throughout the crazy ones! Anywho, I hope you enjoyed your own weekend and I hope you have a wonderful day!

  1. MEN WANT TO INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. MEN WANT TO BE SAVED. MEN WANT TO BE CHRISTIAN. MEN WANT TO HAVE THEIR SINS FORGIVEN. HOWEVER!

Men want to receive all of the benefits of God's grace, however, many refuse to meet God's requirements.

    1. Men want to be saved without naming Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Acts 4:10-12 ...name of Jesus Christ...12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."(NKJV)

    2. Men want their sins forgiven without acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God.

John 8:24 "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."(NKJV)

3.Men desire to be saved without being baptized in water.

Mark 16:16 ...and is baptized shall be saved....(NKJV)

    4. Men want their sins forgiven without repenting.

Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,(NKJV) (Repentance means to turn from unbelief and commit to turn from sin and to turn toward God)

    5. Men want to become Christian, but they do not want to be baptized into Christ.

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

    6. Men desire to have their sins forgiven, however, they do not want to repent and be baptized in water to have that occur.

Acts 2:38 ..."Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins...(NKJV)

    7. Men want to inherit the kingdom of God, however, they want to continue in their current sinful lifestyle.

1 Corinthians 6:1-11....9. Do you not know the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?.....
    Neither fornicators,
    nor idolaters,
    nor homosexuals,
    nor sodomites,
    10 nor thieves,
    nor covetous,
    nor drunkards,
    nor revilers,
    nor extortioners,
will inherit the kingdom of God........

    8. Men want to be saved, however, they want to deny the bodily resurrection of Jesus from the grave.

Romans 10:9 that if if confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

You cannot earn God's grace, however, there are requirements to receive and maintain His grace.
